VARIO-GUARD delivers exceptional containment performance, tested and certified to H2 level, capable of safely managing impacts from vehicles of up to 13,000 kg at 70 km/h and a 20° angle. This makes it an ideal solution for high-risk road sections, including hazardous edges and median barriers, where maximum protection and the prevention of head-on collisions are critical.

Extensive testing has demonstrated the system’s ability to meet multiple international performance standards, including T3, N2, H1, and H2, in accordance with EN 1317 and MASH requirements.

During impact scenarios, VARIO-GUARD consistently ensures controlled deceleration and effective vehicle redirection across a wide range of vehicle types from passenger cars to heavy vehicles such as trucks and buses. The system is specifically engineered to minimise vehicle instability and tilt, enhancing overall road safety and reducing the severity of accidents.
